The popular manga, anime, and light novel series "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken) is making the jump into the world of video games, and fans of the series are thrilled about the news. Bandai Namco has announced that the game will be an action RPG and will be titled "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles." It's expected to be available for players on August 8, with releases planned for multiple platforms, including PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.


Reliving Rimuru's Story

The "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" franchise follows the story of Rimuru, an ordinary man who is killed and reborn as a slime in a magical world. In his new form, he discovers unique abilities and gains allies as he seeks to build his own kingdom and maintain peace in a world plagued by conflict. The game will allow players to relive this epic story from the beginning, with key events such as the encounters with the Kijin and the battle against the Kingdom of Falmuth.


Gameplay and Mechanics

In "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles," players will control Rimuru as they embark on missions to expand the Jura Tempest Federation. The game focuses on action, with intense battles featuring combo attacks and special moves that add depth and strategy to combat. By leveling up bonds with characters like Benimaru, Shuna, Ranga, and others, players will unlock Special Attacks where allies join in for devastating attacks.
